I enjoy working with both three dimensional to two dimensional media from fashion and jewelry to painting and graphics. My approach to three dimensional design involves a deep dedication to incorporate practicality and creativity; new ideas that can also be used, worn, or handled.
Within the past few years I've begun to use technology as a muse. I enjoy learning about new methods and materials and trying to impliment them into my work. I also like using Illustrator to map out ideas. I like the freedom it provides. It allows me to try new ideas more quickly and if I make a mistake Ctrl + Z is one simple and quick hand maneuver towards another 'masterpiece'!
My two main goals for 2011 are to continue mastering my jewelry design and metalsmithing skills while expanding my collection of tools as well as taking the GRE. My goal for 2012 is to travel back to Europe. I would really love to go to Prague to witness the magnificent architecture. |
